Figure: For the Plus-Size Woman

I wanted to be a model when I was a teenager, but the folks at the modeling school said that I was average. It didn’t mean that I couldn’t model. They meant that I didn’t have legs up to my ears and I wasn’t very thin. Between you and me, I still want to model. Once, I was in a fashion show, modeling plus-size clothes, and I felt fabulous. At the end, I had the option to buy the things that I wore, at a discount. Well, it wasn’t free…but a deal is a deal. You’re probably wondering what this … Continue reading

Aromatic Packaging for Food and Beverage Products

A company by the name of ScentSational Technologies has created aromatic packaging for: cereal and snack bags, microwaveable trays, bread bags, disposable coffee cup lids, and various other food and drink products. The packaging, of products using this technology, smells like its contents. Two of Scentsational Technologies’ claims are that their packaging may improve product shelf life and that it may cover up unpleasant odors or tastes. A couple of scents they have created are roasted garlic and tomato-basil. I imagine a substantial quantity of products, with these fragrances, would probably make your cabinets smell like a pizza parlor. Scentsational … Continue reading

Drinking Soda to Lose Weight? Some Interesting Facts

In my quest for a thinner “me,” I often turn to my trusty diet soda. Tips for Buying Hoodia

Now that I have addressed the history of Hoodia, along with what it can do for weight loss, I wanted to provide readers with information on what to look for when buying. As stated earlier, Hoodia has more than 20 varieties. For this reason, you want to purchase Hoodia Gordonii, the only variety known for suppressing appetite. I personally tried Hoodia and did have some success. Although the results for me were not dramatic, I did lose some weight. Most importantly, make sure you purchase Hoodia from a reputable company. Included with this should be a full range of information … Continue reading

Does Hoodia Work for Weight Loss

Let me start by saying that anytime a person considers taking a product, whether manufactured or natural, they should talk to their doctor to make sure it is safe. While the results have not been dramatic, I have lost some weight and do not have as much of an appetite. This succulent, sometimes called a cactus, grows in the desert of South Africa. The people of this land … Continue reading

Hoodia, officially known as Hoodia Gordonii is actually a type of cactus coming out of the deserts of South Africa. Natives living in South Africa have been chewing on the plant for years, as a means of curbing appetite. This cactus somehow has the ability to suppress … Continue reading
