The nasty custody battle between Arizona Cardinals quarterback Matt Leinart and his former girlfriend, Brynn Cameron over their 10-month-old son, Cole has been temporarily resolved.
According to news reports, an agreement between the former lovers was reached yesterday and will last through the football season. It states that the USC basketball star will maintain primary custody of Cole, while Leinart will fly from Arizona to L.A. every Monday and spend 24 hours with his son. Then every other weekend, Cameron will fly with Cole to Arizona the night before Leinart’s games so the pro football player can spend the day before his game with his baby.
Now for the juicer tidbits. According to sources outside the courtroom, Cameron allegedly said: “Britney and Paris are not allowed to be around the baby.” The comment was a reference to the public hook ups the quarterback had with both stars in the past. In addition, the settlement states that while one parent is with Cole the other can’t visit him uninvited. Apparently, the first time Leinart had Cole overnight, Cameron stayed outside his door the entire evening.
And you thought your life was complicated.
In other developments… Ving Rhames is finally speaking out about the death of his caretaker, who was mauled by the actor’s dogs earlier this month.
According to Rhames, he was out of the country when the attacks took place. He also revealed that the victim was not only a “devoted employee” but also a “dear friend.”
You’ll recall that officers were called to Rhames’ home a few weeks ago and found the caretaker’s mauled body along with the actor’s three mastiffs and one bulldog.
According to the Los Angeles Department of Coroner, an autopsy is still pending, and no initial findings have been released. Some have speculated that the caretaker died of a heart attack and not from the injuries he sustained from the dog bites.
By the way, the dogs are still in the custody of animal services and will remain there until the investigation is complete.
