Can you guess what it is? That’s right—-prison orange. According to her mother, Paris is “sick of orange.” But other than that Kathy Hilton says her daughter is doing well and is looking forward to being released from jail tomorrow.
“I think she’s very, very excited to see the family,” the heiress’ mother told reporters on Saturday. Ma Hilton added that the party-girl was also looking forward to getting out of her orange prison uniform.
Another of the socialite’s visitors (actress Ashley Scott of TV’s “Jericho”) told reporters that Paris can’t wait to get out and “eat.”
How’s that for irony? The 26-year-old blonde princess is dying to eat. Interesting… because the rail-thin celebutante barely put fork to mouth when she was free to do so. And even when she was behind bars she reportedly rejected meals in the slammer. Granted, it wasn’t your typical spa-fare—-more like hotdogs, beans, and cookies, but it’s a step up from bread and water. The reality-TV star’s gaunt appearance is something she flaunted regularly at various public events and you know she didn’t achieve her figure by downing cheesecake for lunch.
Speaking of lunch… Rosie O’Donnell was back updating her blog this weekend and reports that despite a “nice lunch” with producers from “The Price is Right,” she won’t be replacing legendary game show host Bob Barker.
The reason: a simple matter of logistics… oh, and a healthy bank account. O’Donnell says she doesn’t really need the job or the money.
“I know you’re not allowed to talk about money in America,” O’Donnell says on her blog. “But I’m just saying I don’t. So to get my entire family uprooted from their lives and move them across the country so that I can have a fantasy childhood indulgence job just doesn’t seem fair.”
O’Donnell had said earlier that she would consider taking over for the now retired Barker if show producers would allow her to remain in New York and tape the show there. But, according to the former “View” co-host, “It looks like it ain’t gonna happen.”
O’Donnell goes on to say that all four of her children (sons Parker, 12, and Blake, 7, and daughters Chelsea, 9, and Vivi, 4) are in schools, which they love and she couldn’t imagine leaving her beloved home and life in New York.
Does this mean that Drew Carey is a shoe-in now that O’Donnell has pulled out of the competition?
