VALERIE SOUNDS OFF
If you enjoyed watching Valerie Bertinelli spill her guts on Oprah the other day then you’ll be pleased to know that the former “One Day at a Time” star will be getting the chance to let loose again. Only this time she will be doing so on her own show.
According to TV’s “Entertainment Tonight” (the same show where the actress refused to confirm the talk show report two nights ago), Bertinelli has just inked a deal with CBS to develop her own chatfest. The new talk show is reportedly slated to air beginning next year.
In the meantime, the actress and new author (her just-released new book Losing It: And Gaining My Life Back One Pound at a Time remains on the New York Times bestseller list) will continue to appear as a guest contributor on Rachael Ray’s talk show.
HALLE’S NEW SCENT
Apparently getting her home ready for her new baby just wasn’t enough for Oscar-winner Halle Berry. To keep her life even more full the actress is working on yet another project that’s almost as sweet. This fall, Berry will be teaming up with Coty to launch a new fragrance line. She joins Jennifer Lopez, Celine Dion, Gwen Stefani, and Sarah Jessica Parker and other Hollywood A-listers who have already created celebrity scents for the fragrance company.
COUPLE’S CAROUSEL
Are they or aren’t they? The celebrity couple’s carousel continues to spin in Hollywood and the latest pair taking a ride is none other than Kate Hudson and Owen Wilson.
The couple officially called it quits last summer (prior to Wilson’s reported suicide attempt), but now it appears they might be back on again.
Onlookers tell PEOPLE magazine that the pair appeared to be “very cozy” at Madonna’s post-Oscar party Sunday night. One observer reported that the two were “all over each other” near a souvenir booth while another witness claims the couple was busy giggling and hugging well into the night.
The magazine also reports that the 39-year-old actor and the 28-year-old actress also met up twice prior to Sunday’s Academy Awards show–spending time at each other’s homes.
