With the many duties and responsibilities that we have each day, it is very easy to lose focus on the things that are important to us. By daily recognizing things that are good in our lives, I believe that we will live a happier and more fulfilling life. What does this have to do with scrapbooking? I think that by enjoying life and appreciating all that is going well in our lives, we will find more moments that we want to preserve through scrapbooking.
This year I have decided to record one good thing that happens each day. It only needs to be a short sentence about something that made me happy or something I am thankful for that day.
I used the MyBook planner from the 12 Days of Christmas class that I took from Big Picture Scrapbooking in December to create a place to write each day. This planner provides me a space to write my positive remembrance of that day. There are also photo holder pages spread throughout the book where I am going to add pictures of things that I am thankful for and that bring me happiness.
The planner is title “Celebrate Life” because I really want to focus on and be more appreciative of all of the blessings that are mine. This will be a wonderful place to turn to when I am having a bad day or I’m in stressful situations because it will remind me that life is good and I need to focus on things that are good in my life.
I believe that when we are focused on all that is good in our lives, we will have a stronger desire to preserve those things that are important to us through scrapbooking.
So, take the challenge to focus on things that are good in your life and enjoy the feeling of peace and creativity that this brings.
