Ice cream goes well with hot weather. There is something extra refreshing about a cool treat on a warm day. Nestle Drumstick wants to help you enjoy your summer with a free cone. The only thing that can make a tasty treat like ice cream better is when it is given to you for free.
What is your favorite kind of ice cream? There is something about this creamy, smooth, cold, treat that makes people smile. Almost everyone, no matter what their age, loves ice cream. Those that do not are probably like me. I am lactose intolerant to the point where ice cream is no longer something I can enjoy.
However, I do have very fond memories of my much younger self eating ice cream. It was something we ate with the cake at birthday parties. It could help you cool off on a warm day (if you were able to eat it before it melted, that is). I think that one year I actually had an ice cream cake at my birthday party, which made me really happy at the time. Today, I don’t actually remember what ice cream tastes like. I no longer miss it.
I am not writing this blog in order to make people feel sorry for me. Instead, I write so that you can all go enjoy some free ice cream while you are still able to do so. Often, it is the small things in life that can turn a bad day into a better one. Most people would feel that ice cream can make lots of things better, at least for a little while.
To get your free Nestle Drumstick cone, you have to go to their Facebook page, and click “like”. This is part of their “Raise A Cone to Summer” celebration. They will be giving away coupons for 100,000 free Nestle Drumstick cones on June 21, 2011. To get one, become a fan (by clicking “like”) and let them know where you want Nestle to send your coupon to.
Unfortunately, this offer is not valid for all states. The states of Louisiana and Tennessee have dairy laws that prevent Nestle from sending anything there. Nestle also can’t send a coupon to people who live in Colorado, California, or Nevada. Instead, they have something that is “pretty awesome” for people who live in those states. I happen to live in California, so I clicked the “like” button just to find out exactly what that “awesome” thing happens to be.
