Celebrities Adding to the Family

She married her husband in 2006, had her first son in 2007, and added another baby boy to the family on Monday.

CNN anchor Campbell Brown is swimming in testosterone, and she says she’s loving every minute of it.

The former NBC anchor and her husband Dan Senor are now the proud parents of Asher Liam Senor, who reportedly weighed in at 9 lbs., 4 oz. and is 21½ inches long.

The 40-year-old mom and her 37-year-old husband are also parents to 16-month-old son Eli James.

Another star mom adding to her brood is actress Penelope Ann Miller.

The Carlito’s Way and The Messengers star and her husband, James Huggins, have reportedly welcomed their second child, a girl named Maria Adela Huggins.

According to reports, Miller’s baby was born March 23 in Los Angeles. Baby Maria joins 8-year-old big sister Eloisa May.

Finally, if you thought Madonna was going to quietly give up on efforts to adopt 3-year-old Mercy James from Malawi, think again.

According to sources close to the Material Girl, she plans to put up a fight to obtain custody of the little girl who stole her heart during her trips to the African nation.

The pop star filed an appeal last week after being notified that her adoption request had been denied. A new judge will rule on the appeal in the next few weeks, according to Malawian officials.

In the meantime, the Malawi Human Rights Commission has decided to get involved in the star’s bid to adopt. Reports say the organization is investigating whether it would be in the child’s best interest to remain in a local orphanage versus living life with a millionaire.

PEOPLE Magazine is reporting that Mercy bonded well with Madonna’s children, especially 12-year-old Lourdes, who fought back tears when she was told the Malawian toddler would not be joining their family (for now anyway).

Do you think Mercy will eventually end up with Madonna as her mother?
