Celebrities In The News

Time for another Hollywood round up. What’s been happening with some of Tinseltown’s A-listers? Take a look.

Bruce Willis

The actor and former husband of Demi Moore is seeing stars these days. Well, one in particular that has his name on it. That’s right, it was years in the making, but now Willis has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Surrounded by ex-wife and her new husband Ashton Kutcher, along with friends Ben Affleck, Kevin Costner, Sylvester Stallone, Don Johnson and Billy Bob Thornton, the Emmy-winning actor became part of Hollywood history.

“I used to come down here and look at these stars and I could never quite figure out what you were supposed to do to get one,” Willis told reporters. “Time has passed and now here I am doing this, and I’m still excited. I’m still excited to be an actor.”

Willis’ star, number 2,321 on the Walk of Fame, was unveiled Monday on Hollywood Boulevard in front of Grauman’s Chinese Theatre on the eve of the DVD release of “Over the Hedge.” (Willis was the voice of RJ the raccoon in the animated film.)

All three of Willis’ daughters were on hand for the big event, which he called “one of the best days of my life.”

Lindsay Lohan

Does anything the 20-year-old actress say surprise you anymore? Well, see if this does it for you. Lohan tells In Style magazine that she is on a 10-year plan: “I want to get married before I’m 30 and have my house. And make the kind of record I want. And I’d like to win an Oscar before then.”

This for-the-record master plan follows the public scolding she got a couple months ago from a studio executive who called the actress out for her absences on the set of the upcoming movie, “Georgia Rule.” Lohan tries to explain her actions in the magazine by saying she missed work because she went out for a friend’s birthday after a day of filming in intense heat.

“I tried to please my friend and I ended up getting sick,” she tells In Style. “It’s about learning to say no more than yes. I’m a people-pleaser. But you can’t always make everyone happy.”

I think she’s proven that all ready.
