Celebrities Making The Most Of Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s Day is a day dedicated to love and a one Hollywood celebrity made the most of the day by getting engaged, while another spent the day getting married.

Who’s Engaged?

Shock jock Howard Stern spent his Valentine’s Day celebrating his engagement to longtime girlfriend model Beth Ostrosky. Stern told listeners of his radio show that he proposed to Ostrosky late Tuesday night and she said, “Yes.”

Despite their 19-year age difference, Stern maintains the pair is “perfect for each other.”

Stern told listeners that he gave Ostrosky a 5.2-carat diamond ring and declared: “I love you. You’re everything to me. This is so gay. … I’m asking you to spend the rest of your life with me.”

But, don’t expect the couple to be jetting off to Vegas to tie the knot—Stern also told his radio listeners that the engagement will be a long one, because neither wants to “mess up a good thing.”

Who’s Married?

Former “Felicity” star Keri Russell took her love for her longtime boyfriend a step further than Stern’s move. According to news reports, she married fiancé Shane Deary, in an intimate Valentine’s Day ceremony on Wednesday.

Reports say that the couple got hitched in New York during a Valentine’s Day snowstorm. Only a few close friends witnessed the couple’s ceremony, but Russell said that’s the way she wanted it.

The V-day vow exchange comes just months after Russell found out she is expecting the couple’s first child. Russell and Deary, a contractor, dated for several years and got engaged last year.

Russell’s baby is due around the same time her new movie “August Rush” is set to premiere. The flick also stars Robin Williams. Her other movie yet to be released is “Girl in the Park” with Kate Bosworth. Last year, Russell starred opposite Tom Cruise in “Mission: Impossible 3.”
