Celebrities Playing the Moving Game

Move over Trace Adkins another smooth talker is heading to Genoa City.

Her hair is about as long as the country crooner’s but that’s about all Kathy Hilton has in common with the “Celebrity Apprentice” runner-up other than the fact she also secured a gig on CBS’ award-winning soap opera “The Young and the Restless.”

Paris’ mom will play herself on the May 13th episode. According to show producers, Hilton is asked to find a magazine cover model for her friend Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), but takes over the photo shoot in a manner that infuriates magazine staffers.

This will be Hilton’s first appearance on a soap opera (unless you count her dramatic posturing during her daughter’s run in with the law and subsequent prison stint), but it’s not the first time the socialite has been on TV. Hilton starred in her own NBC reality show “I Want to Be a Hilton,” in 2005. And we all know how well that did.

Moving on… or should I say over… Britney Spears’ pregnant teen sister is reportedly looking to move from her home state of Louisiana to Mississippi to be closer to her fiancé and the father of her unborn child.

Jamie-Lynn Spears and her boyfriend Casey Aldridge are reportedly house hunting in Liberty, Mississippi. But don’t expect them to move into a Britney-like mansion. Sources tell local papers that the couple toured several “modest” sized homes in the area and made an offer on a three-bedroom house in a low-key neighborhood.

Of course, “modest” is relative when you are a TV star. The “Zoey 101” actress, who is seven months pregnant, reportedly offered close to $300,000 for the house, which boasts a loft, heated floors, marble counter tops, a remodeled kitchen, a game room, a deck and a big backyard.
