Okay, I admit it. I was one of the millions of “Dancing with the Stars” viewers who noticed a big difference in host Samantha Harris’ recent appearance. Okay, okay… two big differences. After seeing Harris on the first episode of new season I thought that perhaps she had gotten plastic surgery. (Hey, I wasn’t the only one.)
“My publicist was getting calls about it, my family got calls about it,” Harris recently told PEOPLE magazine. “I did not get a boob job, but I have put on a little weight because I am happy to finally say I am pregnant.”
Good for her, but I just wonder why she waited until Tuesday’s show to announce that she and her husband Michael, a financial wholesaler, are planning for their baby’s fall arrival. Sure, she has the right to keep her personal life just that, but come on—when you go from wearing barely there, skin-tight ensembles to strapless balloon dresses—expect people to talk.
This is the 33-year-old’s first pregnancy. In addition to her hosting gig with “Dancing with the Stars” Harris is also an E! Entertainment news correspondent, but she tells PEOPLE she doesn’t expect her pregnancy to interfere with her hosting duties.
Days ago O’Dell announced that she and her husband are anxiously awaiting the arrival of a baby girl.
“We are beyond ecstatic that we are having a little baby girl. We know we are blessed to be bringing a little life into this world,” O’Dell told reporters.
“No matter what the gender, we would have been happy. But since we have the two boys, it will be nice to mix up the family recipe a little bit with a girl.”
O’Dell’s husband has two sons from a previous marriage. The new baby is due in June.
“MMM-Bopper” Isaac Hanson doesn’t have to wait for the arrival of his latest bundle of joy. His 22-year-old wife just gave birth to a son named Clarke Everett in the singer’s Tulsa, Oklahoma hometown. According to US Weekly, the baby weighed in at 8 lbs., 12 oz.
Isaac, the oldest of the three brothers in the band Hanson, says he is enjoying being a first-time dad.
“Clarke’s birth was an inspiration and I know that his presence in my life will continue to inspire me,” the new dad wrote on the official “Hanson” website.
He will have to relish his moments with his new son now because according to the site, tomorrow Isaac and his brothers begin a concert tour of the UK and Ireland.
