In just a few weeks you’ll be seeing more and more of actress Gillian Anderson’s growing baby belly when she starts promoting her role as Dana Scully in “The X-Files: I Want to Believe,” a new movie due out July 25th.
In the meantime, the star says she is keeping word of her new pregnancy low-key.
The new baby will be the second for Anderson and her boyfriend Mark Griffiths. The couple already has a 19-month-old son, Oscar, and Anderson also has a 13-year-old daughter, Piper, from a previous marriage.
Joining the expectant celebrity moms club is “Made of Honor” star Michelle Monaghan. According to reports, the actress and her husband Peter White, a graphic designer, are expecting their first child this fall.
The 32-year-old “Mission: Impossible 3” beauty married White in August 2005. The couple walked the red carpet together at the “Made of Honor” premiere in New York just six weeks ago. That’s when Monaghan told reporters that children were “in our future, for sure.”
But before Monaghan can get to work nesting for her new arrival she still has to complete promotional work for her upcoming thriller “Eagle Eye,” co-starring Shia LaBoeuf, which is due out on September 26th.
Actor Ethan Hawke’s pregnant girlfriend Ryan Shawhughes is due to give birth in just a few weeks, and now it appears the couple might be pulling a Jessica Alba.
According to the New York Post, the pair was spotted registering for a marriage license in the Big Apple on Tuesday.
Shawhughes is reportedly due to give birth at the end of the month. She and Hawke met while she worked as a nanny for him and his ex-wife Uma Thurman’s two children.
Hawke and Thurman’s divorce was finalized in August 2005.
I know anything can and does happen in Hollywood, but you have to wonder how weird it is for Hawke and Thurman’s young children to grasp that their father is about to marry their former nanny–the same woman who allegedly broke up their parent’s union– and to top it all off, the baby she is carrying will soon be their half sibling.
