Oscar winner Halle Berry cries every Sunday night… and she has Ty Pennington to blame.
No, the “Extreme Home Makeover” designer didn’t dis the actress years ago; rather Berry confesses she is addicted to the show and sheds tears as Pennington changes the lives of those in need.
The self-described “interior design nut” says she makes time each Sunday to watch the popular TV show. Now, she says she and her boyfriend are anxiously awaiting the start of the show’s new season.
According to Pennington, this season will include a major milestone–the construction of show’s 100th house. Pennington also reveals that the 100th family to be assisted by “Extreme Home Makeover” will be a domestic abuse story.
In other celebrity confessions… Here’s a shocker: Paris Hilton loves “cheap” clothes.
Or at least she says she does.
The hotel-heiress, author, singer, reality TV star, turned fashion designer unveiled her new clothing line yesterday to huge crowds (so big police and city workers were called in to handle the masses and a lane of traffic had to be closed to contain the eager shoppers).
Hilton told potential customers, having her own fashion line is a “ dream come true.”
“It’s just Paris style: fun, bright and flashy,” Hilton said.
Now, about those prices. Hilton is selling a collection of what she describes as “really comfortable” and “really affordable” clothes, including shoes, T-shirts and jeans.
Apparently, “affordable” is a relative term. Most of Paris’ t-shirts are retailing for $35-$100. Again, that’s for a single short sleeve cotton shirt.
“It’s just from my closet to their closets,” Hilton said proudly.
That would explain the prices.
Paris Hilton’s new clothing line is being sold at Kitson boutiques with additional pieces released next month.
Call me budget conscious, prude, tight, whatever… but, am I the only one that thinks $35 (the equivalent of dinner for four… or five) for a cotton tee is a bit steep?
