Celebrity Couples News—-Jessica and Tony, Paul and Rosanna, and Superman Minus Lois

What Hollywood starlet hasn’t Dallas Cowboys’ stud Tony Romo been linked with?

First it was “American Idol” winner Carrie Underwood. Then he moved on to “One Tree Hill “star Sophia Bush, Britney Spears and now, according to Dallas newspapers, former “Newlywed” Jessica Simpson.

Local papers report that just hours after he helped the Cowboys demolish the New York Jets on Thanksgiving, Romo grabbed dinner with Nick Lachey’s ex-wife in Dallas.

Witnesses say the star pro football player arrived at a restaurant inside the upscale Hotel ZaZa at around 7 p.m. Thursday, shortly after Simpson showed up with 25 of her closet friends and family.

So much for having alone time…

In other couples news it appears Paul McCartney isn’t letting his messy divorce get in the way of pursuing other relationships.

Britain’s News of the World is reporting that the 65-year-old Beatle has been spending a lot of “quality time” with actress Rosanna Arquette. (So much for rumors McCartney and American businesswoman Nancy Shevell were starting a romance. Apparently, one kiss does not a relationship make—-in McCartney’s world anyway.)

The paper even printed several photos of the couple strolling side-by-side through a historic homestead. The paper also quotes unnamed witnesses, who claim the two were kissing. If it were true it wouldn’t be the first time McCartney and Arquette have taken their “friendship” public. In August the couple attended a James Taylor concert together. Back then fellow concertgoers reported that Arquette spent part of the concert leaning on McCartney’s shoulder during “How Sweet It Is (to be Loved by You).”

Finally, sorry Superman fans… TV’s Man of Steel is officially off the market.

Superman Returns star Brandon Routh married his longtime girlfriend, actress Courtney Ford, on Saturday in Santa Barbara, according to PEOPLE magazine.

The 28-year-old groom and his 29-year-old bride met four years ago when Routh was a struggling actor supplementing his paltry salary by working at Lucky Strike bowling alley in Hollywood and Ford’s brother was having his wedding rehearsal dinner party there.

After their initial meeting it didn’t take long for Routh to realize that Ford was his personal kryptonite. “She brings me to my knees,” he told reporters.

So much for Lois Lane.
