Celebrity Engagements—-Drew and Anna Up In a Tree…

Not together…with their respective new future spouses.

Not only does Drew Carey have a new gig taking over for Bob Barker on “The Price Is Right,” but now he’s also getting a new wife to boot.

Nicole Jaracz is no consolation prize, according to the actor’s rep. Carey’s new fiancée is a recent graduate of culinary school and reportedly a perfect match for Carey, a self-professed foodie.

The marriage will be the first for both Carey and Jaracz, however, according to The Power of 10’s rep, no date for a wedding has been set yet. Carey’s rep did reveal that the proposal took place on Tuesday—six days prior to the day the actor begins his hosting duties on the 36th season of “The Price Is Right.”

Another celebrity making plans to walk down the aisle for the first time is actress Anna Chlumsky.

The 27-year-old, who starred as Macaulay Culkin’s gal pal Vada in the 1991 film My Girl, is engaged to National Guard member and Iraq war veteran Sean So.

PEOPLE magazine reports that So is currently working for a contracting firm in Washington, and the couple is making plans to tie the knot next March in Queens, New York.

“Sean’s family is Chinese, and my family is Catholic. So we’re going to do a fusion of the two cultural traditions,” Chlumsky told the magazine. “There will be Lai See … [money given in red envelopes]. That’s what the children get during Chinese New Year. And you’ll have a big feast. Both of our fathers are chefs, so food is number one.”

Sounds like it’s going to be a heck of a celebration with one killer buffet. Chlumsky’s father is a culinary instructor in Chicago at Kendall College, while So’s family owns a Chinese restaurant in Maine.

The actress says the food will be the main focus of the reception and she will forgo the Chinese tradition of “kidnapping” the bride and the formality of wearing a traditional Chinese dress for the celebration. Rather, Chlumsky says she already bought a formal white wedding gown, though she adds she and her husband-to-be will be partaking in a traditional Chinese tea ceremony during the ceremony.

The pair says they plan to keep the food theme going as they take off on a planned honeymoon to Italy where they reveal they will indulge in regional delicacies shortly after exchanging vows.
