Celebrity Love: Jennifer Aniston, Kristin Davis and Tori Spelling

Contrary to popular belief, Tate Donovan and Brad Pitt are not the only guys who have proposed to Jennifer Aniston.

In a recent interview with USA Today, the actress claims that she once turned down a romantic marriage proposal in a crowded restaurant in the 1990s.

According to the former “Friends” star, the proposal came from an ex-boyfriend while she was working as a waitress at a L.A. restaurant, long before her acting career took off.

Aniston tells the paper that she was horrified when her ex arrived at her workplace and got down on one knee – in front of his mother and dozens of diners – and proposed to her.

“I broke up with a guy and he tried to get back together with me by bringing his mother to a restaurant I worked at and getting down on one knee in the middle of the restaurant,” reveals Aniston. “The whole restaurant started applauding and I was like, ‘Get up!’ It was horrible.”

I know one gal, who isn’t crying for the former Mrs. Brad PittSex & The City star Kristin Davis.

The 44-year-old actress says she has given up on her dream of getting married.

Davis tells the New York Daily News, “I don’t think I’ll ever get married. I don’t say never, but I just might not. I’m 44.”

The actress also admits that her hope of one day finding lasting love is diminishing. However, she isn’t depressed about it.

Davis insists she’s found fulfillment on her own, without a life partner.

Not so for Tori Spelling. The “90210” star says she can’t imagine life without her husband Dean McDermott.

In fact, Spelling says she was so infatuated with McDermott that she didn’t mind breaking up his marriage to have him.

Spelling and McDermott fell for one another while filming the TV movie “Mind Over Murder,” while both were wed to other people.

In her new book “Divorce Sucks,” McDermott’s ex-wife Mary Jo Eustace says she and her actor hubby had just adopted a baby girl, and she desperately begged Spelling to leave her spouse alone.

Eustace says, “I told her I thought (her) behavior thus far had been the height of insensitivity and rudeness. I tried to explain that we were a real family, with a new baby and a substantial history, and there were serious consequences to all of this, but she didn’t listen.”

Spelling and McDermott married a few weeks after their respective divorces were finalized, and they now have their own children, two-year-old son Liam and 11-month-old daughter Stella.

Eustace, meanwhile, is waiting for the day that her ex and Spelling pay for breaking up her family.
