So much for working things out…
The much-ballyhooed semi-reconciliation between estranged couple Dylan McDermott and Shiva Rose is over. At least according to court documents.
Court filings show the actor threw in the towel on his 12-year marriage last Friday. Records show the former star of TV’s “The Practice” officially filed for divorce six days ago citing irreconcilable differences.
The actor and his actress wife have two young daughters together. They separated more than a year ago, and reports say in that time they tried to patch things up, but apparently McDermott wanted out more than he wanted in.
According to the court document, property and custody arrangements will be determined at a later date.
Meantime, Jermaine Jackson and his wife, Alejandra have passed the point of no return. According to court records, their divorce is now a done deal.
A Los Angeles Superior Court judge finalized the couple’s divorce earlier this week. Records show that Jackson, a former member of the Jackson 5, has agreed to pay $50,000 to cover his ex-wife’s attorney fees and $50,000 for back child support payments.
The couple was married in 1995 and filed for divorce in 2007.
Court papers show that the couple’s two children will live with their mother and Jermaine will have visitation rights. The singer is also mandated to pay $3,000 per month in child support.
On a much happier note, last night on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, actor Adam Sandler announced that his wife Jackie is nearly 4 months pregnant with the couple’s second child.
The new baby will join older sister Sadie Madison, who just turned 2.
And finally, seven is just heaven, according to MTV “Real World” alums Sean Duffy and Rachel Campos-Duffy. The couple welcomed their fifth child into the world on Sunday, May 18th.
According to Duffy, the newest member of the clan is a girl named Paloma Pilar Duffy.
Baby Paloma joins older siblings Evita Pilar, 8, Xavier Jack, 6, Lucia-Belen, 4, and John-Paul, 1.
