KILLING SHOWS
“Scrubs” fans will have to enter new numbers into their TV remotes this fall if they want to catch up with their hospital friends.
The once popular NBC comedy is moving to ABC this September and that’s not the only change viewers can expect.
Series star Zack Braff recently announced he plans to hang up his scrubs and walk away from the show at the end of the season, which means writers are busy tailoring several episodes to mark the departure.
Show creator Bill Lawrence recently confirmed the upcoming season of “Scrubs” will be Braff’s last. He also hinted that the actor’s final show could mark the end of the series.
“The end of the show will be about J.D. (Braff’s character) leaving the hospital,” Lawrence told reporters. However, he was quick to note that, “You can’t kill this show.”
So what does that mean? Will the show be revived again in the future on yet another network?
KILLING RUMORS
Australian model Miranda Kerr and movie hunk Orlando Bloom’s reps have been working overtime recently trying to kill rumors that the couple has split.
Recent reports put Kerr back in the arms of her former boyfriend, oil heir Brandon Davis, who also previously dated Mischa Barton.
According to In Touch magazine, Davis recently split from Australian model, Cheyenne Tozzi, and he and Kerr have been seen kissing and cuddling at clubs in New York and London.
Despite accounts by eyewitness, who claim they spotted Davis and Kerr “fully making out” in New York last week, the 25-year-old actress’ rep denies that the model and Bloom are no longer dating.
KILLER LEGS
It’s hard not to notice supermodel Heidi Klum’s shapely gams, but what many people don’t know is that her legs are insured for more than most people make in a lifetime.
According to the British newspaper The Sun, Klum’s lengthy legs are worth more than $2 million. The German catwalk star’s right limb is insured for $1.2 million and the other for a cool $1 million.
The paper says her right leg is insured for $200,000 less than the other because of a scar on her knee.
