Celebrity Updates: Halle Opens Up To Oprah About Becoming A Mom

When Halle Berry called to tell gal pal Oprah Winfrey she was finally pregnant I would suspect there were screams of delight and a fair share of air kissing going on. When that was over I wouldn’t doubt that the legendary Miss O told the gorgeous ingénue to pack her bags and get to Chicago ASAP.

I can hear it now:

Oprah: “You better get on my plane and get on my show girl.”

Halle: “Don’t forget to stock it with deep-dish pizza. The baby loves pizza…”

Okay, maybe that’s not exactly how the conversation went…

Regardless, the rumors are true… Berry is spilling details about her bundle of joy to the talk show queen. According to the Chicago Sun Times, the Academy Award-winner taped an episode of Oprah’s show late last week and didn’t waste time showing off her burgeoning baby bump to the studio audience.

During the taping the 41-year-old actress also revealed some interesting tidbits regarding her pregnancy. For example, Berry admitted to Oprah that when she first suspected she was pregnant, she took a whopping 34 home pregnancy tests. Every one came back negative. Finally, she decided she would take one more, and it wasn’t until test No. 35 came back positive that Berry knew she was definitely expecting.

The bombshell actress also confirmed to Oprah that she is 4-months pregnant and can’t wait for she and her 32-year-old model boyfriend Gabriel Aubry to become first time parents. Berry also admitted that she and Aubry don’t know the baby’s gender. What’s more, she says they aren’t planning to find out until the baby is born.

But, that’s not all…

According to the paper, Oprah squeezed even more baby details out of Berry, including the fact that the Oscar winner is already thinking about getting pregnant again. Despite the fact that Berry’s baby is not due until next year (her doctor gave her a Valentine’s Day due date) the actress told Oprah that she and Aubry are anxious to have another baby as soon as possible.
