Celebrity Weekend—It’s a Wrap

It was a great weekend for Britney Spears. The pop princess steered clear of car accidents, her house in Malibu is still standing, oh, and she regained visitation rights of her sons, Preston, 2, and Jayden James.

The singer was snapped cruising around L.A. in her damaged white Mercedes with her children securely strapped in their safety seats (bonus points for Brit) and a court-appointed monitor in the front passenger seat.

This after a judge temporarily suspended her vitiation rights last Wednesday. Media reports say the judge removed her rights after the trainwreck was unable to be reached to schedule court-related appointments.

Spears and Fed-Ex are due back in court on Friday for another custody-related hearing.

She looks like she’s hiding a watermelon under her shirt; yet, Jennifer Lopez still refuses to address pregnancy rumors.

In my opinion, if you aren’t going to confirm the news you should at least abstain from teasing fans about starting a family.

This weekend Lopez’s husband Marc Anthony got tongues wagging when he dedicated a special song to his baby’s mama, I mean, wife at their concert in L.A.

“It’s a real personal song,” Anthony said before choking out the words to Journey’s “Faithfully” inside a crowded Staples Center. “This song has a whole new significance.”

When Anthony belted out the song’s lyrics “They say that the road ain’t no place to start a family” concertgoers erupted in cheers.

As for the 38-year-old maybe mommy-to-be she told fans, “This is such a special time.”

Lopez continues to wear her loose-fitting outfits on stage, but this weekend she donned noticeably low-heeled boots for her dance routines.

Finally, actor Bradley Cooper says don’t believe the rumors; he admits he’s been pretty chummy with actress Cameron Diaz recently, but the pair are not dating.

“I think she’s great,” Cooper told reporters Saturday. “We’re good friends.”

”Good friends” who hold hands during NFL games alongside pals Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore, snuggle together during strolls through Central Park and canoodle at Saturday Night Live afterparties.

Hmmm…
