It’s been a busy weekend for the Hanson family. Make that a busy year. Taylor Hanson, who wed in 2002, welcomed a third child with his wife Natalie last month. Younger brother, Zac, married his longtime girlfriend, Kate Tucker, in June. And just yesterday, the oldest Hanson brother, Isaac married his longtime girlfriend, Nicole Dufresne, in Oklahoma. (I bet their parents heads are still spinning.) According to PEOPLE magazine, 25-year-old Hanson and his 22-year-old bride wed in a traditional ceremony at the Philbrook Museum of Art in Hanson’s hometown of Tulsa.
The Hanson brothers, who formed the music group Hanson more than a decade ago, are definitely growing up. (I feel so old.) You’ll remember they rose to fame during the summer of 1997, thanks to their hit single that had a nation of teens “MMMBopping.” According to the band’s Web site, they are now are wrapping up their fourth studio album, which is set to be released next year.
Meanwhile, on the same night in New York City actress Amanda Peet and screenwriter David Benioff pledged their love for each other in front of their family and friends. PEOPLE reports the bride and groom “exchanged vows in a ceremony held at the actress’s alma mater, Friends Seminary, a Quaker school founded in 1786.”
Guests described the event as “beautiful” and “stunning.” I’m sure Peet was radiant as well, but that could also be that pregnant woman glow. (In a September 27th appearance on the “Late Show with David Letterman,” Peet revealed that she was four months pregnant.)
Peet and her new husband dated for four years before announcing their engagement in July 2005. The actress currently appears in the new NBC drama “Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip.” Peet did not say whether her pregnancy would be written into the show.
