Mama Mia – Celine Dion is expecting twins! The singer found out she was pregnant after undergoing a sixth in-vitro fertilization. Her first in-vitro try resulted in she and hubby/manager Rene’s 9-year-old son Rene-Charles, so it has been a long road for the couple.
It’s been no secret that Celine and Rene have always wanted more children and the couple has been very public about their pregnancy struggles. Celine had announced last August she was pregnant, but that pregnancy ended in miscarriage.
Of the news of the twins, Rene told PEOPLE, “We’re estatic. Celine is just hoping for a healthy pregnancy. She was hoping for one baby and the news that we are having two is a double blessing!”
How will this affect Celine’s career? After all, she just announced a new three-year engagement at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, which is slated to begin March 15, 2011. The good news is that by the time she starts this new show, the twins should be almost four months old. And Celine has said, “I’ll balance my showbiz life with my most important job: motherhood.”
I blogged about Gary Coleman’s death the other day and mentioned his volatile relationship with his wife Shannon. Now his estranged parents want to know exactly what happened.
The only problem is that no one may care what they want. Coleman sued his parents a long time ago for mishandling his money and Sue and Willie Coleman had been estranged from Gary for 10 years. The Colemans have always denied any wrongdoings and released a statement that said that they were shocked by Gary’s death and love him very much.
So far, the only thing we know is that an accident occurred in Coleman’s house that resulted in an intracranial brain hemorrhage, which killed Coleman. Sue said the couple needs to know what happened for closure, but Shannon is keeping the exact details private. The police say there was nothing suspicious about the accident so there is no ongoing criminal investigation.
I guess the Colemans are suspicious as to what happened because both Shannon and Gary had been booked on domestic violence charges in their short marriage.
