Cellulite Reduction

Cellulite, ewwww. As unappealing as it looks most women have it, at least a little bit of it. Another unfair woman thing, you say? Unfortunately, yes.

The reason why cellulite is more apt to strike the female species is because the female fat is stored differently than the male fat. The men in your life have connective tissues with fat storage units that perform diagonally. The women have connective tissues that are vertical, structured like a honeycomb. It is because of this awful honeycomb feature that enhances our dimples on the leg, mostly the upper thigh.

Many people are trying to sell their “magical cure cream”, which they say will reduce or eliminate cellulite. There may be a minute difference when you have used the cream a few times (or it could be your imagination), but the bottom line is that the fat has to come off first.

There is hope though in reducing the dreadful appearance and improving the cellulitic area. If you are overweight your first step would be to lose weight while having a fitness program in progress. You need to get rid of the fatty area, which is causing this problem. A cardio fitness program with strength training will help to reduce it significantly.

Getting in good physical shape and staying that way is difficult. It takes hard work, dedication and an iron will. Once you are in reasonably good physical condition you can start to cut back (ever so slightly) on a maintenance routine to keep what you have worked for.

Getting rid of cellulite will not happen overnight. You could work on it for several weeks before seeing results. For this reason, you must not give up and be consistent in your workout. Eat healthy, limit snacking, fast foods and sweets to a minimum and workout like a trainer. You will get there in time.
