As iDay approached this past week, the Computing blog has been filled with lots of news about the iPhone. But, there were plenty of other things to read about, too. Such as video games, kids websites, and the perhaps unintentional rudeness that sometimes comes with a cell phone. Now, just in case you missed it, here is a quick review of all of the articles for the date range of June 30th through July 6th.

Did You Get Your Wii?

If you did get the Wii you really wanted? If so, count yourself lucky. It appears that more than seven months after the release of the gaming console, Wiis are still running scarce. The demand is definitely outpacing the supply.

I really love really good education website for kids. Not only do they offer a learning environment, but they do it in such a way that is so much fun. My kids don’t even realize they are learning. In fact, they beg for time on the computer to “play” on these websites.

Are The iPhones Sold Out?

Apple is reporting that Apple Stores are almost completely sold out of the cutting edge device. In fact, they are sold out in the following states (in alphabetical order): Hawaii, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, Utah and Washington, so if you live in one of those state, you just might have to cross the border (or up ocean) to seek your iPhone.
