Corn, Potato, and Ham Chowder
5 potatoes, peeled and cubed
2 onions, chopped
2 cups ham, diced
3 stalks celery, chopped
15 1/4-ounce can of whole kernel corn, undrained
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
2 chicken bouillon cubes
2 cups water (more if needed)
12-ounce can evaporated milk
In a crock-pot, add the potatoes, onions, ham, celery, corn, butter, salt, and pepper. Add just enough water to cover. Then add the bouillon. Cook on low setting for 8 to 10 hours, stirring occasionally. Stir in the evaporated milk and continue to cook for 30 more minutes.
