This cruise departs from Vancouver, Canada in late May and disembarks in Seward. The weeklong journey takes cruisers toward the Gulf of Alaska and includes stops in Juneau, Alaska and the Ketchikan Peninsula. If you book an inside cabin on Orbitz right now you will only have to pay $499 for the seven-night glacier discovery cruise. An oceanview unit will cost you $599. The prices reflect a 70% savings off summer fares and are only valid for the May 25th departure. Balconied units and suites are already sold out on the luxury Zaandam ocean liner.
ISLAND PRINCESS
The four-star Island Princess also sets sail from Vancouver on a weeklong northbound voyage that makes four ports of call in Alaska–Skagway, Juneau, Ketchikan Peninsula and Whittier as the final destination. The trip also includes a day at sea and cruising time around the Glacier Bay and the College Fjord. The journey begins on May 19th and you’ll save big bucks if you book now. CruisesOnly is offering the trip for just $579 for an inside cabin and $594 for an oceanview. That’s a lot less than the $904 you’d pay during the summer months.
NORWEGIAN STAR
This 7-night cruise also departs in May and sails round-trip from Seattle. The trip typically sells for about $1,200 but has been reduced by 42% for early birds. If you book through Vacation Outlet you will pay just $699 for an inside cabin and $799 for an oceanview stateroom. The cruise itinerary includes three ports of call in Alaska, three days at sea exploring glaciers and other scenic passages, and a stop in Prince Rupert, British Columbia.
