Curing Patrick Swayze

“We can cure Patrick Swayze.”

Or so claims three doctors who want to give the actor a new lease on life with revolutionary new cancer treatments.

The “Ghost” star was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer earlier this year and since then he has been keeping a low profile. But, the 55-year-old’s name returned to the headlines yet again this week after three self-proclaimed cancer “experts” offered to treat the actor with experimental techniques they consider “miraculous.”

Dr. Howard May, Robert Krupa and Dr. Jim Howenstine insist they have the tools to help Swayze beat cancer and they went straight to the tabloid The Globe to send out their invitation to Swayze.

You see where this is going don’t you?

According to May, who calls himself the National Health Director of the Philippines Church of God, he happens to be living proof that his “Zapper” device, which boosts the body’s immune system and kills pathogens and parasites that cause cancer, really works. (The device supposedly cured May of colon cancer.)

May explains, “I’m 86 and in better health now than I was when I was supposed to die within six months.”

Meanwhile Krupa tells The Globe he can cure Swayze with his invention, the Rife machine, which uses electromagnetic energy to cancel out cancer.

Finally, internist Dr. Howenstine insists the secret to Swayze’s cancer cure lies in a powerful antioxidant called Coenzyme Q10.

Personally, I think Swayze should stick with the methods his current oncologists are using to treat him. They seem to be working. At least that’s what one publication is reporting.

In fact, they may be working so well that Swayze could be set for a return to the big screen in the near future.

The actor is reportedly in talks to star in “Point Break,” which is set to be revived in a sequel. Swayze starred in the original 1991 film alongside Keanu Reeves and could reprise his role, health permitting.

According to British tabloids, the sequel would be shot in Singapore and Indonesia, and is set 20 years after the disappearance of Swayze’s character Bodhi.
