Day One of the Three Day Diet

Photobucket Pictures, Images and Photos

Today I began the 3 Day Diet. The purpose of the diet is to lose a decent amount of weight in a short amount of time. It is said by those who promote the diet that up to ten pounds can be lost following this plan. Keep in mind that depends on the person more than the diet. False claims are not unusual for a crash diet. It has also been stated that the diet must be followed exactly with no substitutions. The diet is supposed to work by stimulating the metabolism by the chemical breakdown of the foods.

Here is the diet menu for the first day.

DAY 1:

Breakfast–1/2 Grapefruit, 1 Slice Toast, 2 Tablespoons of Peanut Butter, and Coffee or Tea

Lunch–1/2 Cup of Tuna, 1 Slice of Toast, and Coffee or Tea

Dinner–2 Slices of any type meat (About 3 ounces) 1 Cup of Green Beans, 1/2 Banana, 1 Small Apple, and 1 Cup of Vanilla Ice Cream

I have a bad habit of not eating breakfast so after eating the small amount of food I felt good. Lunch was a challenge. A half cup of tuna with nothing more then salt and pepper was hard to eat. I like tuna but this seemed dry and tasteless. I was starved by the time dinner time came around. I had the urge to cheat since I was so hungry but I stayed strong and had the dinner as described in the menu. It was enough food and the ice cream was a nice treat. It is too early to see results or weigh myself. I just hope I lost something because right now I am starving. I will get some water or a cup of tea and be fine. So far so good, except for feeling hungry. I will check in tomorrow.
