Day Two of the Three Day Diet

Photobucket Pictures, Images and Photos
It is day two of the 3 Day Diet. I am starving. Starving is not the feeling you should have on a diet unless your doctor or a nutritionist oversees your diet and perhaps you simply are not used to eating the proper portions. This diet puts you under 1200 calories a day and that is not recommended. When I lost weight successfully a few years ago or so, I ate about 1200-1500 calories a day and felt full. This diet misses the mark on creating a lifestyle of health. So obviously, I would not recommended. So day two and I am on my way out. I could hack it as far as hunger but I am experiencing low sugar issues and that caused me to have to eat in between lunch and dinner. I only ate a few hundred calories but I needed those calories.

I have a friend on the same diet. She also said she is starving and irritable. I understand being irritable. The worst part is that neither one of us has lost a pound. I know you are thinking that is sounds crazy to think weight would be lost do soon but another of friend has already lost three pounds. Until an hour before dinner I followed the plan exactly.

At any rate here is the menu for the second day:

Breakfast–1 egg, 1 Slice of Toast, and 1/2 Banana

Lunch–1 Cup of Cottage Cheese and 5 Saltine Crackers

Dinner–2 Hot Dogs, (no buns), 1 Cup of Broccoli, 1/2 Cup of Carrots, 1/2 Banana, and 1/2 Cup of Vanilla Ice Cream

So, it is safe to say that I won’t be recommending this diet. I sincerely wished that I could have found a real jump start to losing weight. Oh well, as we have been discovering there are no short cuts.
