Devo Gets Mad-O at McDonald’s and Lilo’s Mystery Sis

If they could really “Whip It” they would probably choose to do so right at burger giant McDonald’s.

Cult classic rockers Devo are furious that fast food chain McDonald’s is using the band’s likeness (or so claims the musical group) in a Happy Meal toy.

The 80s hitmakers claim the “American Idol” tribute figure, New Wave Nigel, was based on their famous image, as seen in their popular “Whip It” video.

Regarding the McDonald’s brouhaha, Devo bass player Gerald Casale, who came up with the punk rock band’s odd jumpsuited look, told news reporters: We’re in the midst of suing them. They didn’t ask us anything. Plus, we don’t like McDonald’s, and we don’t like American Idol, so we’re doubly offended.”

LILO’S MYSTERY SIS

Could things get any stranger with the already dysfunctional Lohan family?

Don’t ask… but if you do prepare yourself for answers like this:

According to new reports, Lindsay Lohan might have a mystery sister thanks to her dad’s carousing ways.

Michael Lohan reportedly fathered a love child and now he has instructed his lawyers to get to the bottom of the situation.

As if this guy needs yet another kid to negatively influence…

Here’s what has been reported so far: Lohan has admitted to romancing a woman named Christie Kaufmann in 1995 during a period when he and his now ex-wife Dina Lohan were separated. The relationship fizzled but not before Kaufmann reportedly became pregnant with a daughter who is now in her teens.

According to Lohan, “I met Christie in 1982 in Houston. In 1995, when I was separated from Dina, she contacted me that she was moving to Long Island. She was going through a divorce at the time. I was with her for a week.”

That’s Lohan’s version of the story. Kaufmann, who is now happily married to a real estate agent in Canada, insists her romance with Lohan lasted much longer than he remembers. She also maintains that it’s about time he became the father her teenage daughter never had: “I just want to make sure the truth comes out. My daughter has a right to know who her father is – and it’s Michael.”

Meanwhile, Lohan insists he had no idea his tryst with Kaufmann had resulted in a child until she dropped the bombshell on him while he was in prison, serving time for a DUI and other charges in 2005.

Lohan says, “She contacted me to say she had a paternity test done that revealed the child’s father was not her husband. She said I was the only other man she had been with.”

Lohan tells reporters he isn’t convinced that the 13-year-old girl is his and announced last week that he has his lawyers working on “getting to the bottom of this” so it can be dealt with “in the appropriate manner.”
