Different Strokes for Different Folks

She’s more than a foot taller and nearly 20 years younger than he is, but actor Gary Coleman is convinced his new wife is the person he will remain with for the rest of his life.

For those of you who didn’t get a wedding invitation, the former “Different Strokes” star—-who is now 40—-recently wed 22-year-old aspiring actress Shannon Price in a “romantic” ceremony on a mountaintop.

Coleman says he decided not to publicly announce his big news until just a few weeks ago so he and his new wife could get used to married life without cameras following them around.

Hmmm… he must be referring to the paparazzi that tails D-list stars.

Interestingly, in a recent TV interview Coleman admitted that his coupling with Price is his first-ever romantic relationship.

So will the union last?

Well, let’s just say that their differences are not limited to height. (By the way Coleman is 4’8”, while Price stands 5’7”.) The actor says their 5-month-old marriage has seen its share of fights.

“We may go a week and not speak to each other,” Coleman says, while Price claims, “He lets his anger conquer him sometimes. … He throws things around, and sometimes he throws it in my direction.”

Oh, and did I mention Price says she “loathes violence?”

As his new wife Price now handles the sale of Coleman’s memorabilia on e-Bay, and says that when she met him on the set of the movie “Church Ball” she had no clue who he was since she didn’t watch TV growing up.

I’d be very careful if I were Price, after all, she could end up like Shanna Moakler.

The former beauty queen has been involved in an on-again, off-again relationship with Travis Barker for years… though it appears the couple has finally decided to call it quits.

According to TMZ.com, the MTV reality show couple officially divorced a couple of weeks ago. The pair, who once starred in “Meet the Barkers,” has two kids together: Landon, 4, and Alabama, 2. (Moakler also has a daughter, Atiana, 8, with former fiancé boxer Oscar de la Hoya.)

Not surprisingly Moakler, who calls herself a “hopeless romantic,” says she hopes to wed again someday. In the meantime, the model and part-time actress says she will keep busy with her kids and her newly adopted pet piglet.
