With the gift giving holidays just around the corner, I will be doing several digital camera reviews in upcoming blogs. I’d like to kick this off with two popular consumer digital cameras, both are a point and shoot type of camera.
The first camera I will be reviewing today is the Kodak Easyshare ONE runs around $199, and is a pioneer in the world of digital cameras. This camera has a 4 mega pixel sensor, which will allow you to make prints up to 11 x 15 inches. It also has a 3x optical zoom, which is really plenty for most average needs. Along with that, the camera has 256mb of internal memory, which is expandable with SD memory cards. The 3 inch LCD screen is operated with touch screen technology, and comes with a stylus. What’s truly extraordinary about this camera though, is that it has a built in Wi-Fi card, which allows you to share pictures instantly, with wireless technology, with any computer that is wireless enabled.
The second camera I am reviewing today is the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LZ3S, which is a huge camera in a very small package. This camera has a 5 mega pixel sensor, and a 6x optical zoom, which is stabilized, and will allow you to print up to 13×17 inches. The zoom is exceptionally long range for a point and shoot camera, and this camera can take an amazing five shots per second in standard mode. This camera also offers a high sensitivity mode, which will help reduce the effects of movement in your photos.
With the holidays just around the corner, I will be doing several more of these reviews, as new digital cameras are sure to be on everyone’s wish list this year!
