Just as the domestic Disney parks periodically update and change their special offers page, so do the international Disney parks. It’s time to take a look at the summer deals for Hong Kong Disneyland and Disneyland Paris.
Hong Kong Disneyland has some special hotel and ticket packages, just like Disney World and Disneyland, but the deals don’t quite work the way that they do for the domestic parks. You don’t have to make your reservations by a certain date for a particular time; these packages are simply on offer from now until July 15.
Four options are available. The first is for a one-night stay and breakfast the next morning, starting at HK$728 or $94 U.S. dollars (from now on I’ll just give the price in the latter). Reservations for two people, including breakfast for both at Chef Mickey’s, at the Disney’s Hollywood Hotel starts at $187, and a one night stay for two people at the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel with breakfast at the Enchanted Garden Restaurant starts at $265.
If you’d rather find your own breakfast but want a deal that includes tickets to the park, there is one of those too. Get a one-night stay for two people and two Stay2Day tickets (tickets that can only be used for the date of your stay) at the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel starting at $331 or Disney’s Hollywood Hotel for $271.
The other two packages mentioned cover all of the three aforementioned options, or a room and Stay2Day tickets plus dinner instead of breakfast. For full details and pricing, check the Hong Kong Disneyland Special Offers page.
Hong Kong Disneyland also has a few special meal deals. For example, take your tea in full fancy Victorian style at either the Grand Salon and Sorcerer’s Lounge or the Enchanted Garden. Tickets for the former go for $22/person, and for the latter $34/adult or $18/child aged 3-11.
The Chinese park is full of other unique offers, such as tickets for Disney that include a round-trip on a cable car over a nearby island, so be sure to check out the page if you think you’re heading to Hong Kong this year.
Over in France, Disneyland Paris has a variety of deals going on as well. One of the most notable allows guests to, if they book now, get an extra night at the park. The exact pricing of the deal, by when the reservations must be made, and for when they apply depend on the hotel, so visit the Disneyland Paris Special Offers page and input your specific travel times for more information.
Another package with much clearer parameters gives free Stay&Play to kids under the age of 7. Stay&Play means that children of that age will receive free accommodation and entrance into the park. This deal applies for visits to the park between now and November 7.
In Japan, both Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea, still Disney’s only water amusement park, are now both open for business again after March’s horrible earthquake. I still cannot find any evidence of a special offers page within the Tokyo Disneyland site, though I have a hard time believing that there isn’t anything. Perhaps details just haven’t made it onto the English language section of the site yet.
Whenever you’re booking a Disney park vacation, domestic or international, always be sure to see if there are any special offers currently available.
