iTunes subscribers can now enjoy live broadcasts through streaming of Radio Disney. They just have to search in the iTunes Radio Tuner in the Top 40/Pop section. Radio Disney can be a great deal of fun to listen to and from time to time, we’ll listen to it over the satellite.
Available and open to customers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year, the iTunes Music Store is a great resource for finding musical tunes of all types as well as programming from many of the major networks and my daughter and I even purchased an episode of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse to check it out.
But more than just being a great music store that can be positively delightful to search through, iTunes is the only direct download online retailer that is authorized to sell Disney music. Disney lovers worldwide can search through the library of Disney music and pick up their favorite songs for $.99 each.
Make Your Own Compilation
You can search through for the Aladdin or Beauty and the Beast Soundtracks and get your favorite lyrical songs like ‘Be Our Guest,’ ‘A Whole New World’ and more downloaded to your Mac or PC where you can listen to them or burn them to an audio CD and listen to them in your car.
For the Disney fan, this is heaven – as the mother to a Disney fan – this is nirvana. I can purchase the songs I want and I don’t have to pick up the whole album and I can make my daughter a CD with her favorite songs on it and so if she wants to listen to ‘One Little Slip’ from ‘Chicken Little‘ and follow it up with ‘Prince Ali’ from ‘Aladdin‘ – she can!
Yes, you need iTunes to be able to access their library of Disney hits and classics. You can get the software here as a free download and then sign up to begin searching and building your Disney music and video library on your computer – at home or at the office. It’s definitely a Small World After All!
