Another one of the Disney Value Resorts, along with the All-Star Movies and Music resorts is the All-Star Sports Resort. If you are looking for the ultimate ESPN experience for sports fans on a budget, this is the place to stay! You’ll check in at Stadium Hall before going to your room in one of the five sports-themed areas at this resort. The themed areas include Touchdown, Home Run Hotel, Center Court, Hoops Hotel and Surf‘s Up. Each of the five areas has its own landscaped courtyard where you can hang out and see who is coming and going in the sports world.
The guest rooms are set up much like the other value resorts with a total of 1,920 rooms that measure a comfortable 260 square feet each and made to accommodate a family of four. You’ll find larger rooms at the moderate and luxury resorts at Walt Disney World but not for this price! Each room carries the sports theme throughout with themed bedspreads, carpets and curtains.
Each guest room has two double beds, a bathroom with one sink, a dresser, TV and a small table with two chairs. Rooms for guests with disabilities have onlye one king sized bed.
The End Zone Food Court is a sports-themed arena with food outlets, a deli-style market and gift shop. Don’t forget to purchase your refillable mug for $11.99 as you can refill for free at the End Zone. Pizza is also available from room service between 4pm and Midnight.
As with the other value resorts, the only bar is poolside and serves drinks throughout the day and evening. There are two pools for your enjoyment as well as a kiddie pool and playground.
A video arcade, coin laundry, child care services and free bus transportation throughout the Walt Disney World resorts and parks round out your value vacation experience as only Disney can.
The price range for the Disney Value Resorts is $82-$141 depending upon what season you visit. See my upcoming blog on the seasons at Walt Disney World. It’s the only way to plan your vacation!
