Today, I received my Magical Express package for my upcoming trip to Walt Disney World. Now, I no longer have to worry about my luggage or transportation to the resort when I arrive at the airport in Orlando. So, what is Magical Express, you ask?
Realizing that a great deal of their traffic came from tourists flying into visit the Walt Disney World resort, the Orlando International Airport struck a deal with Walt Disney World. That deal allows the airport to coordinate directly with Walt Disney World Resorts in an effort to ensure their guests arrive without hassle to the resort.
When you make your reservations for your Walt Disney World vacation, assuming that you’re traveling by air, you’ll receive, free of charge, Disney’s Magical Express service. Once your reservations are made, Disney will mail a package to your home with a number of items.
First, you’ll receive a number of motor coach vouchers for each member of your traveling party. You will present these vouchers at the Disney kiosk in the Orlando airport upon arrival. This will allow you free transportation of your party and luggage to the Walt Disney World Resort.
Second, you’ll receive a number of luggage tags for each member of your party. This will route your luggage to the Disney kiosk for easy pick-up once you arrive at the Orlando International Airport. Each luggage tag will contain the name of the head of your party as well as the names of each party member on the individual luggage tags. Each luggage tag is a bright yellow with, of course, the mouse emblem in the center of the tag.
