Do You Think Like a Homeschooler? Quiz

Here is a test I made up to help you decide if you think like a homeschooler. Take the test and come back to read my next post to see if you are a homeschooler at heart and why.

1. You receive a lunch calendar for public school and see that you do not agree with some of the meals being served this month. You

A. Toss the list and do not worry about it because at least half of the meals are healthy.

B. Write a letter to the school requesting a healthier menu.

C. Put the menu on the refrigerator and send a healthy lunch on those bad-food days.

2. Your child is dealing with a bully in Sunday school. You

A. Inform the Sunday school teacher that there is a problem that needs to be addressed.

B. Volunteer to help in the Sunday School Class so you can keep an eye on the troublemaker.

C. Ask to have a conference with the Sunday school teacher and the parents.

3. Your child gets grades you are not comfortable with, but they are still passing. You

A. Praise the child for trying and move on hoping they will do better next time.

B. Have a strong talk with the child about getting bad grades and require them to do better.

C. Have the child work with you or a tutor to help them understand the material they did not understand.

4. You want to replace an old dress with a similar style. You search all the stores and cannot find one like it. You:

A. Give up and buy a different dress.

B. Persistently search for the dress for years until you find it.

C. Make the dress yourself or have it made

5. The doctor tells you that you have a serious medical issue and need a drastic procedure. You

A. Listen to the doctor as you believe they know best.

B. Get a second opinion from another doctor

C. Go online and look up everything you can find about the condition, including alternative solutions even if it means taking more time than the doctor feels you have to make a decision.

7.You have lunch with a friend and they suggest you get one check. Although their meal was more expensive, they want to split the check 50-50. You:

A. Split the cost and complain to someone else later

B. Refuse and calculate only what you ordered.

C. Pay the whole bill an make a note from now on to ask for separate checks.
