Overstock.com is celebrating it’s birthday month this October. They have several different sales going on, auctions deals, and even a contest. If you are interested in finding some inexpensive things to decorate your home you should check out these deals.
Go to the Overstock website and look for the whimsical image of a cupcake with a bunch of lit birthday candles in it. The entire page is brightly colored, which seems fitting, since Overstock wants to “share the party with you”.
Overstock.com was founded in 1999, so they decided to make many of their items on sale for just $19.99 right now. Get a four piece set of stemless wine glasses made by Anchor, a set of four square salad plates by Sango “Concepts”, or a stainless steel cake stand for just under twenty dollars! There are sheets, pillow covers, and curtains, on sale. Find microfleece blankets in different colors and patterns. You can also find jewelry, including items from their Worldstock collection. There are electronics, luggage, health and beauty items, and even computer accessories that are part of this sale. Pay only $19.99 for each!
They also have “Screaming Deals”. Every day this month, there will be a brand new deal, that is only good for that particular day. This could be anything at all that Overstock.com sells. You can see the deal of the day, the normal price, and the sale price that is good for one day only. There might be a “Bonus Deal” of a second item that day. You can see a picture of what is on sale, and click a link to learn more details about the product. If you find something you like, you need to take advantage of that deal right away. Each “Screaming Deal” expires the very next day.
There is an Auction section on Overstock.com. Bid on something that catches your eye. Get free shipping on select items from now, until October 11, 2010. They also have a “Daily Dig Contest” going on. To enter the contest, you need to visit their website each day until October 11, 2010. Follow a clue to find a special blue X that will be on one product from their website. You must click on that blue X in order to find the link that allows you to enter the contest that day. A different kind of prize will be awarded to one lucky winner each day of the contest. You must be a legal resident of the United States to enter the contest. The Overstocktober sales will end October 31, 2010.
