Saturdays and Sundays are excellent days to find sales. Retail stores realize that there are a lot of people who have those days off of work, and that this is a good opportunity for them to attract customers. It is also a great time to find deals! Here are some sales that you won’t want to miss this weekend.
Michaels is having a “Buy One, Get One Free” sale that starts on Sunday, January 8, 2012. It will last through Saturday, January 14, 2012. If you want to get the best selection, you should shop this sale this weekend. Now is the time to save on speciality and glitter paper for scrapbooking, wool yarn, photo frames, photo boxes, and Ashland spring bushes and garlands.
Sears is having a “2 Day Sale” this weekend. Their fitness equipment is up to 40% off, activewear and athletic shoes are up to 50% off. Appliances are up to 20% off. The items in their clearance sale are now up to 60% off their original prices.
Kmart has a “New Year New You” sale. All of their fitness equipment is up to 40% off. This includes treadmills and stationary bikes. You can also save up to 50% off fitness accessories like hand weights and MMA Boxing items.
Kohl’s is having a “3-Day Mega Sale”. It started on Friday, January 6, 2011, (and stores will be open until 11:00 at night). On Saturday, January 7, Kohl’s will open at 7:00 in the morning, and will stay open until 10:00 at night. On Sunday, January 8, the sale will continue, with Kohl’s stores opening at 9:00 in the morning, and remaining open until 9:00 at night.
This sale includes an Early Birds “Power Hour” that will take place on Saturday, January 7, 2011, from 7:00 in the morning until 1:00 in the afternoon. Ok, that’s more like four hours, but I guess “power hour” sounded better.
Many of the items in the “3-Day Mega Sale” are up to 50% to 60% off. The “Gold Star Clearance” has new markdowns, which makes some items 60% to 70% off. Final Clearance items are up to 80% off.
J C Penney is also having a “3-Day Sale” this weekend, but it is an online only sale (and not one that you can shop in the actual stores). Their “Red Zone Clearance” has new markdowns that are between 60% and 70% off. “Final Markdowns” are 80% off.
