Dora the Explorer: Big Sister Dora

Dora has many different movies out as well as her cartoon. Many of her videos contribute to a child’s character or education. In one of her movies, Big Sister Dora, Dora is awaiting the arrival of her new baby.

While out on her adventure with Boots, Dora carries a cell phone so her father can notify her when the babies are born. Not long into their exploration, Dora gets the call. Of course she must check with Map to find the way home. Once her route is mapped out, she is all ready to go.

Dora and Boots meet several of their friends on their way home. Each time that they see one of their friends they excitedly tell them about the baby. Dora is very thrilled about becoming a big sister and tells the friends how she will teach the baby to explore.

Once she arrives at home, Dora discovers that she has two new babies, twins. They are a boy and a girl. She rocks the babies to sleep and is very excited to have the additions in her family.

Also on this video is another episode. In this one, Dora is watching her cousin play soccer on television. The referee stops the game and announces that the team does not have enough players. Dora’s cousin asks Dora to come and play for her team.

Once again Dora has to map out her route to the soccer game. She finally arrives and saves the soccer game. Diego also makes an appearance in this episode.

This is a great movie for children, especially those who are going to be big sisters. Dora and Boots are very excited about the addition to their family. This will also excite your child. The movie is very interactive. Children are encouraged to yell out and participate with Dora’s adventures. They also must use listening and Spanish language skills.
