Dove is one of my favorite companies for deals. I was just thinking about that as I sit here warm and snugly in a blue fleece shirt I got for free a few years ago with the purchase of two Dove body wash.
Growing up with Ivory soap was a hard habit to break, until a persistent rash on my belly during a pregnancy prompted my doctor to recommend Dove to because it wouldn’t strip the moisture from my skin.
Every once in a while, I check back on the Dove web site to see what they have in current promotions. Right now is a good time to get some deals. They have six special offers at the moment. All sample and extras offers are while supplies last. Some of the offers may take you off the site to places such as start sampling, but you won’t notice unless you look at the url.
The first is actually a contest. They ask you to create your own ad that could be shown during a commercial break on the 79th Annual Academy Awards, airing on February 25, 2007. That is pretty exciting. Clicking on the link will take you to an AOL Living page that is sponsored by Dove.
The second offer is for a free sample of the new Dove Ultimate Clear invisible solid. This would be perfect for use in a travel kit, or just to try out at home.
The third offer is for a famous Dove Tote with any $20 purchase. Dove totes are a sort of status symbol, I think, among deal lovers. What is really nice about this offer, is that Dove will donate money to help improve the self-esteem of young girls.
The fourth offer is actually two-in-one. If you color your hair, you might want to request a free sample of Dove Advanced Color Care for Lightened Hair or Dove Advanced Color Care for Darkened Hair.
The fifth offer is for the new Dove Calming Night, which promises to work with warm water to sooth your skin and relax you.
The sixth offer is your choice of one out of three t-shirts, a Dove Real Beauty T-shirt, with a $15 Dove purchase. I haven’t ordered this one, but if the quality is anything like the fleece shirt I have, then it has got to be good.
