She wasn’t supposed to arrive until the first day of 2009, but little Jordyn-Grace Duggar decided to join her family in time to celebrate Christmas.
And boy, rather, girl, do Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar of Tontitown, Arkansas, certainly have a lot to celebrate this Christmas.
Jordyn-Grace Makiya, the couple’s eighteenth child arrived into the world via C-section yesterday and will soon be leaving the hospital to join the rest of her J-named siblings. According to reports, Jordyn-Grace weighed in at a healthy 7 lbs, 3 oz and was 20 inches long.
If you’re wondering how mom Michelle fared this time around you can tune into TLC on December 22nd. That’s when the network, which airs the Duggar’s reality show “17 Kids & Counting” will be airing a special on Jordyn-Grace’s birth.
Show producers say the episode will feature Michelle’s trip to the hospital, her labor and delivery, as well as how the other 17 Duggar kids – who range in age from 20 years to 17 months – are adjusting to their new sister.
Look for Joshua (who got married in September and is trying to conceive his own children), twins John-David and Jana, Jill, Jessa, Jinger, Joseph, Josiah, Joy-Anna, twins Jeremiah and Jedidiah, Jason, James, Justin, Jackson, Johannah and Jennifer to welcome their newest J-named sibling with open arms.
Oh, and for all of you moms out there keeping track of Michelle’s gestations, consider that with the addition of baby Jordyn-Grace, the veteran mother has given birth to a new child approximately every 18 months since getting married more than two decades ago.
And you thought your house was going to be full on Christmas.
Meanwhile, actress Angie Harmon and husband Jason Sehorn don’t have near as many children as the Duggar’s, but they too will have a newborn home for the holidays.
According to reports, the couple welcomed their third daughter into the world yesterday.
Emery Hope Sehorn is “a healthy baby girl,” according to the couple’s rep. Baby Emery joins sisters Finley Faith, 5, and Avery Grace, 3.
