This approximate 70-minute DVD workout addresses not just one area or two areas like some DVD workouts do, but it rather addresses several areas. There are four workouts on the DVD that targets your buttocks, your arms and legs, your abdomen and core body. The result is an evenly toned body resulting in a healthier appearance.
The workout begins with a 5-minute warm-up, and then continues to include a 15-minute session that focuses on your mid-section and upper body. This includes firming up your shoulder, arms, chest and mid-section, your core body. You will then continue to firm up your core body along with your hips, calves, and thighs for another 15-minutes. After you are finished working on your lower half you will be working on your buttocks for another 15-minute workout. These exercises will help you sculpt your derriere. Lastly, you will be directed to the complete challenge, which includes an18-minute combination workout that will have you breaking out in a sweat for some good heart thumping, heart pumping blood circulation.
Each of these areas of workout can be done in their entirety or can be done on their own. In this video Denise uses a set of dumbbells and a stability ball. Denise Austin is a credible instructor, as well as upbeat and very enthusiastic. Some may find her a little too “talky”, but her guidance in cueing is well appreciated by most people.
