Dyson Groom: A Great Item for Daycare Providers

As a former daycare provider, I am aware of what parents look for in a person and home of someone they want to hire to watch their child. There are a set of questions everyone asks with the number one question being “Do you smoke?” Since I do not, I passed that one with flying colors. The second question I was asked was “Do you have any pets?” Well, I did not always pass this one as I do have one dog. One who sheds enough to make your own clothes out of his fur if you so desired. While, the reason for the question was not due to fur it was geared toward safety and cleanliness. I can appreciate these concerns as a parent. If the parent gets past the fact you own a dog, she may not get past the fur all over her child’s clothing and items. Crawlers especially will look like little puppies themselves if you have a shedding dog. I have firsthand experience that this is not pleasing to the parent upon pick up. Even if you keep your dog away from the child you will not keep the fur away.

So do you give up your home business? Give up your dog? In this case, you can have your cake and eat it too. As a daycare provider you must be prepared with the proper equipment to keep your area clean for the safety of the children while in your care. I have found one way to keep the fur at bay is the Dyson Groom. I cannot tell you how many times I wanted to vacuum my dog. The only thing that kept me from doing it was his fear of the vacuum cleaner and wondering if somehow that would be cruel. With the Dyson Groom attachment you can easily groom your dog, keep your area clean, and keep your dog from shedding all over your home. I have a dog that takes shedding to a new art form yet this device has kept his shedding under control. It also makes it nice to be able to groom him inside the house without worrying about all the fur in the air and all over the floor. Besides that, the device is super cool! Even my wimpy dog was fine when my daughter used it on him.

I was prompted to think of my old daycare providing days when my friend came to pick up her baby and commented how there was no fur on her baby! Her mother in law has a dog and when she picks her baby up there, he is covered in fur. This is a great device for any dog owner but if you provide daycare or work with animals you will be thrilled you have it.
