My husband and I are having an Eddie Bauer birthday theme this year. For my birthday, last week, he presented me with an Eddie Bauer gift certificate, so that I might buy my very own Eddie Bauer outfit. The clothes tend to be a little on the expensive side for me, but we got a bit hooked on them after we visited a special invitation only special inventory sale a few years back.
At the time of the sale, we visited an old warehouse that was stocked with items the company was looking to liquidate, such as clothing from stores that had shut down and item returns. If someone returns an item because it is the wrong size, for example, Eddie Bauer can’t sell it again as new. So it wound up in this sale. We really cleaned up that day, buying clothes, home accessories and more for pennies.
