For my teens, I have always stressed entrepreneurship because I believe that there is no such thing as a steady job. While I realize that my kids will want and even enjoy jobs, I insist that a job is learning experience and when a worker is no longer learning or otherwise gaining a great deal of value, then it is time to move on. It is entrepreneurship that will be long lasting and that will allow them to be truly happy. Entrepreneurs also have a better chance of becoming wealthy than the average worker.
Realizing that not all people are cut out to be business owners as adults, teen entrepreneurship will help kids determine where they belong in the business world at an early age. Running a business as a teen helps them become more confident in their own abilities, and less likely to doubt themselves as adults.
Any parent who has a home business knows that being an entrepreneur is not easy, so it is important for teens to have a great deal of support. For teens to become young entrepreneurs, they need parents who will help to encourage them to be independent and to support their ideas.

They also need to see that entrepreneurship can be done by learning about the successes of their predecessors. Ben Cathers, who started a web marketing business at just 12 years old recommends taking advantage of internet technology.
“the reason why Internet marketing works so well is that you don’t have to spend much money and you pay only for results. Focusing on search engine marketing, which is basically paying for positions in a search engine, is probably one of the best ways you can go because when people use a search engine, they’re specifically looking for your product.”
This is advice is just the tip of the iceberg. Here are some more success stories that can prove helpful in inspiring your teens.
