It’s time to close out October and reflect if our time spent has put us closer to our weight loss goals. So how are you doing? Have you lost weight? Have you decided to get a new attitude? Have you taken the time to laugh at yourself and brush off setbacks and keep trekking?
This month we have tried to find fun and humor in weight loss and body image. I do hope a laugh, if in fact it was funny, made your day brighter. We also covered plenty of recipes for that fall beauty the pumpkin. I hope the recipes were helpful to you and that you will incorporate them into your holiday meal planning. Have you tried the pumpkin pie recipe yet? I will say the chocolate pumpkin bundt cake is one of my favorites for ease and taste.
What about Halloween? How is the candy invasion going at your home? Have you kept your hands away from the candy bags? Are you remembering to incorporate your children in a new attitude of health and well being? Make sure bags of candy are not eaten in one sitting by you or the kids or even you with the kids.
My goal is to make weight loss a bit easier, funnier, and healthier. If you have any recipes, success stories, or questions please forward them to talktorichele@gmail.com. I’d love to chat with you and feature some recipes or success stories. Please forgive how pompous the name of my email address seems to be, as if you are dying to talk to me. (snicker snicker) I actually tried several names and most were already taken. I suppose I am not so original in thought when it comes to naming an email address.
My month has been going in an up and down direction. My knee is still preventing me from heading into any work out routine with full throttle. While it is improving, I still have my good and bad days. I have been eating better but at times my laziness or taste buds take over and oatmeal doesn’t look too good. Looking forward to the next few months filled with holidays and fun. As far as weight loss efforts, let’s stick together so our thighs won’t.
