Want to make your Halloween extra exciting this year? Enter the “Ultimate Trick or Treat” sweepstakes from Tombstone Pizza. Someone will win $1,000. That amount of money would buy a whole lot of pizza!
To enter this contest, you need to log into Facebook, and click “like” on the Tombstone Facebook page. Tombstone has declared itself to be “The Official Pizza of Halloween”. This year, the company is trick or treating with cash prizes. Who couldn’t use a little extra cash right now?
After you click the “like” button on Tombstone’s Facebook page, a button will appear that says “Enter Now”. This will cause Facebook to bring up a page that asks for your permission to allow the Tombstone Trick or Treat Sweepstakes to access your basic information. If you don’t allow it to do this, then you cannot enter the sweepstakes.
If you do allow it, then the Facebook page will refresh, and ask you for your birthdate. I think this is because you have to be at least 18 years old to enter the sweepstakes. Next, you have to fill in a form that asks for your mailing address, your email address, and a phone number. I assume this is so Tombstone has some way to contact you if you happen to be a winner of the sweepstakes.
There will be ten winners of the Ultimate Trick or Treat sweepstakes. A random drawing will be held on October 25, 2011, of all the eligible entries that Tombstone received. Winners will be notified in by phone, in person, or by a winner package that is left at the home of the person who wins. The package will be left if the winner isn’t at home when Tombstone comes over to “treat” on Halloween, October 31, 2011.
Each of the ten winners will receive a check for $1,000. If you win, the official rules state that you must sign a “Winner’s Agreement and Release”, and that you will have to supply your Social Security number, (for tax purposes). You may want to read over the official rules for yourself, if you want further clarification.
Now, you just need to wait and see if Tombstone is going to visit your house this Halloween. Need something to do while you wait? You can play a Memory Match-Up Game on the Tombstone Facebook page. Soon, you will also be able to download a “Halloween Party Kit” with spooky sounds, eerie music, and creepy decorations.
