Excuses For Not Exercising: #4 It Is Not Doing Anything

Exercising the body to a point that you can be able to tell there is any difference takes some time. If you are just starting to exercise, be prepared. It does not happen overnight. It very well could take several weeks before you begin to see any difference. How you feel, however, is a totally different story.

Once you start exercising you will start to feel more energetic, more fit and trimmer within a matter of a week. The big hurdle to climb over though is the hurdle known as dedication, patience, perseverance and commitment. You may want to quit because you do not see results right away, but whether you know it or not your body is undergoing the beginnings of a transformation almost right away.

The changes in your body will depend on the type of exercise you do, how long you do it for and your genetic make up. Did you ever notice families of parents and children and their similarities? Chances are if you see a tall, thin father you will see tall, thin children. However, they could take after their large boned, more rounded mother and have her body shape and form. If you have tall and thin parents you will probably never be one of these woman who have a more curvaceous body. You can make it more muscular though and you certainly can make it stronger.

A word of advice. Stop concentrating on a certain body appearance. Concentrate on eating healthy, drinking plenty of water and a more toned body. If you put those three things into your plan of action you cannot lose. Formulate a plan and stick to it. No matter what. Create a diet plan that you will stick with and are satisfied with. Go to your doctor for a complete physical examination and get his approval. Have him or her look over your diet. Research the exercises that you need to do to tone your body, all the areas of your body. Now you need to follow this plan with all good intentions. Most likely you will see start to see results in about 8 weeks.
