This one is another starvation diet with a very low calorie count every day. Although it can be attractive by telling you to have “all you can eat”, the monotony of eating only a single food every day can lead you to abstain from eating at all later in the day because you just can’t bear to eat that one flavor again.
On Day #1, you can eat all the fresh fruit you want (but only fruit) except for bananas. This can be a hard day on one’s intestines if you aren’t used to consuming a lot of fruit or fiber.
On Day #2, you can eat all vegetables you want (but only vegetables and this does not include potatoes). You can use soy sauce, vinegar or mustard for extra flavor.
On Day #3, you can eat all the fruit and vegetables you want (except for bananas or potatoes).
On Day #4, you can eat up to five bananas and five cups of milk.
On Day #5, you can eat four three-ounce servings of lean beef, chicken or fish with fresh vegetables (but no potatoes).
On Day #6, you can eat four three-ounce servings of lean beef with fresh vegetables (but no potatoes).
On Day #7, you can eat four three-ounce servings of lean beef with fresh vegetables (but no potatoes).
The good thing about this diet is that it does require you to eat a lot of fruits and vegetables which are things most Americans simply don’t get enough of. If you are a carbohydrate addict, this will definitely get you off the starch as it includes no starchy carbohydrates whatsoever.
The bad thing about this diet is that it is definitely not balanced. It is seriously lacking in protein, dairy and grains. Any weight loss would likely be water weight as whatever the fruit didn’t flush out of you the first four days, the vegetables and meats will flush out in the last three. This is not the kind of diet one could follow healthily for the long term.
